Hello!
I am an experienced Early Years Leader & Teacher (EYFS Trust lead of 5 schools) and have had a variety of roles within Early Years. I also lead ITT and ECT within my school and facilitate on the NPQEYL. I seek to support educators about the holistic child and importance of learning through play. My goal is to inspire YOU to feel more confident within your abilities, knowledge & provisions and provide you with practical tips, advice & ideas to support your journey.

Hello!
I’m a Year 1 Teacher and KS1 Leader with over 10 years experience working in education. The majority of my teaching experience is working with Year 1 which is where my passion for provision-based learning has derived from. I believe in breaking the mould of the formal KS1 classroom and creating engaging, memorable experiences for the children I teach. Nurturing and supporting teachers gives me a real buzz & my aim is to provide easy to understand, practical ideas & relevant training to take into your classroom.

Why we started The Powerful Play Teachers 〰️
Welcome to The Powerful Play Teachers - a company co-founded by two teacher besties, Hayley and Katie, who trained together and share a love of play-based learning. TPPT is the host of our exclusive monthly membership, The Powerful Play Club. We have lots of other exciting projects that we are working on for the future so watch this space…
In our teacher training year, we had one session focused on EYFS. Just one! Guess how many sessions were about continuous provision? Yep, you guessed right - absolutely zero! Then all of a sudden, we were faced with our own classes and expected to have a wealth of knowledge. After starting our own Teachergram pages, we saw hundreds, if not thousands of teachers in the same situation. Wanting to do the absolute best for their EYFS or KS1 class, being super passionate about play but not sure about the ‘how’. This is where The Powerful Play Club comes in. A one-stop shop to provide you with the tools, strategies and most importantly, empowerment you deserve!
