Language-Rich Environment Audit & Provision Checklist

This audit tool is designed for EYFS teachers, leaders and whole teams to evaluate how effectively their environment promotes communication and language development. It can be used as a self-audit, peer review tool, learning walk document or part of an EYFS action plan. Includes audits for the following areas of provision: book corner, writing, role play, small world, construction, creative and malleable, maths and outdoor. Additionally, there are reflection audits for EAL, inclusive practice and leadership for strategic development.
